Questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read by your browser and processed in the page. It never reaches a server, so there is no upload to wait for, no queue, and no copy of your document sitting somewhere with a retention policy.

Which image formats work?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF and SVG. Anything your browser can decode will render.

Can I put several photos on one page?

No. Each image becomes its own page. Combine them in an image editor first if you need a contact sheet.

Will the images be recompressed?

Images are embedded at the resolution needed for the page size you chose. To reduce the result further, run it through Compress PDF.
