Add page numbers to a PDF
Stamp numbers onto every page, with control over where they sit, how they read, and where the count begins. Useful for court bundles, printed handouts and anything that needs to be referred to by page.

Questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read by your browser and processed in the page. It never reaches a server, so there is no upload to wait for, no queue, and no copy of your document sitting somewhere with a retention policy.
Can I skip numbering the cover page?
Yes. Set the starting page so numbering begins after the front matter.
Will the numbers cover existing content?
They are drawn on top, so a page with content right at the margin can overlap. The preview shows this before you commit, and moving the number to the opposite corner usually resolves it.
Can I remove the numbers later?
No. Once drawn they are part of the page content. Keep your original if you might need an unnumbered copy.
