Rotate PDF pages

Scanned sideways, or landscape when it should be portrait? Rotate every page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees and save the result, so the orientation sticks rather than being something each reader has to fix.

Questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read by your browser and processed in the page. It never reaches a server, so there is no upload to wait for, no queue, and no copy of your document sitting somewhere with a retention policy.

Can I rotate just one page?

This tool applies one rotation to every page. To fix a single page, extract it first, rotate it, then merge it back.

Is this different from rotating in a PDF reader?

Yes. Readers usually rotate the view only, and the file opens the old way next time. This writes the rotation into the page objects, so it travels with the document.

Does rotating change the file size?

Barely. A rotation is a small property on each page, so the output is within a few bytes of the original.
