Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using Truth or Dare ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Joel Jaimon ("Developer", "we", "us").

Truth or Dare is a party game available on iOS and Android. The App offers multiple quest categories (Classic, Ticklish, Fiery, Wild, Madness, and Custom) with truth questions and dare challenges of varying intensity. Features include offline play with cached quest packs, custom quest creation with a Quest Editor, password-protected private quest lists, platform-based authentication via Game Center or Play Games, theme customization, advertisements, and optional premium subscription for access to advanced categories and couple mode variants.

Certain quest categories within Truth or Dare — including but not limited to "Wild" and "Madness" — contain content intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. By accessing these categories, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We are not responsible for minors accessing age-restricted content. Parents and guardians should monitor their children's use of the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms and any applicable Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms of service.

The App uses Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) for authentication. If neither service is available, an anonymous account is created automatically via Firebase. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and gaming platform account. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your device or platform credentials.

Truth or Dare offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans that unlock premium content including the Wild and Madness quest categories, couple mode variants, and the Quest Editor. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at the prices displayed at the time of purchase.

• Billing: Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon purchase confirmation.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are subject to the policies of Apple or Google, as applicable. We do not process refunds directly.

The free version of Truth or Dare displays rewarded video, interstitial, and banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads provide in-game benefits such as unlocking additional quest content. By engaging with advertisements, you agree to Google's advertising terms and policies. On iOS, the App requests your consent via App Tracking Transparency before serving personalized ads.

Truth or Dare allows you to create custom truth and dare quests that are stored in our cloud database. You retain ownership of your custom content. However, you agree not to create content that is:

• Illegal, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory.
• Infringing on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Containing viruses, malware, or any harmful code.

We reserve the right to remove user-generated content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

When using Truth or Dare, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure.
• Not exploit the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
• Exercise personal responsibility when performing dares, and not engage in activities that could cause harm to yourself or others.

All content, features, and functionality of Truth or Dare — including but not limited to game design, quest content, visual assets, animations, text, code, and AI-generated quest content — are owned by Joel Jaimon and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from the Developer.

Truth or Dare is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

Physical Safety Disclaimer: Truth or Dare involves challenges that players perform at their own risk. The Developer is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or consequences arising from the performance of any truth or dare challenges presented by the App. Players should exercise good judgment and never perform dares that could result in harm.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Joel Jaimon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, physical injury, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the App, the performance of any challenges or dares, any unauthorized access to your data, or any interruption or cessation of the App's services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App's infrastructure. Upon termination, your license to use the App is revoked immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the competent courts located in India. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
